Video Competition Website

A video contest designed for college students not only encourages the use of Noise Eraser but also motivates and involves budding creative minds.

(The product is already online, but the marketing campaign has been completed, so the website has been taken down.)

Goal

Hope to enable students to start learning to use the Noise Eraser noise-cancelling product during their school years, and understand the benefits of this product, so that in the future, when they are creating audiovisual projects, they will want to use this product, thereby increasing its visibility and promoting it for more people to start using.

Product background

This video competition marketing web page is designed for university students to cultivate our clients when they are young. It provides an opportunity for students to showcase their creativity and talents, and gain recognition. By participating in the competition, students can gain recognition and exposure, while also connecting with like-minded individuals and building valuable relationships. We aim to inspire and engage students while promoting awareness of our organization's offerings.

  • Low user base: The user base is not as expected, and there is a desire to increase awareness and usage of this noise reduction product through a campus video competition.
  • Low product visibility: Few people in the market are aware of the noise reduction software developed by the company.
  • Potential users are not aware of the benefits of Noise Eraser: Seldom people know there is a new technology that effortlessly achieves effective noise reduction and is less expensive.

Takeaway

1. When we face obstacles, I should always stand from a problem-solving perspective to communicate with other people.  Also, I should bring up the issue make things transparent, and openly discuss it. Besides, I should ensure that stakeholders are informed.

2. Before the collaboration with engineers, there was also a preliminary discussion to understand what the engineers envisioned for the final output. Clear specifications were provided, outlining different states of the UI, reducing the need for engineers to make assumptions and minimizing communication costs.

3. After the engineers have implemented the multi-language product, review it once more. Confirm that translations in other languages are not too lengthy, and if needed, seek assistance from colleagues to make necessary modifications.
